I had the funniest thing happen yesterday: I walked into my friendā€™s doctorā€™s office because she swore he was the best, so I figured Iā€™d let him have carte blanche on me. He took one look and said, ā€œI wouldnā€™t touch your faceā€”itā€™s already perfect; maybe a touch of Botox once you hit your forties, but right now, do not touch it, doctorā€™s orders.ā€ I laughed and told him, ā€œDoctor, Iā€™m forty-seven!ā€ Dead silence. The man was literally speechless, not a single word. He didnā€™t believe me, even after I showed him my driver's license.
